Virtual try-on and 3D work together to enhance online shopping, increasing confidence in purchasing. Case preview
Problem Statement
The first version of the interface included only a feed for switching models. Based on research, customer feedback, and planned new functionality, the second version was redesigned using a new component-based design system.
The new version includes:
• Updated onboarding and hints;
• Improved model switching with larger preview images when swiping;
• Fast switching between AR and 3D modes;
• Height selection for a more accurate fit for bags and clothes;
• Wrist ruler for precise watch sizing;
• Style switching (e.g., allowing a bag to be worn on the shoulder or crossbody);
• Redesigned sharing screen.
Customization
The solution can be customized to match the brand's guidelines. Brands can change the font, colors, strokes, border radius, add logo, and seamlessly transition from the product card to the virtual try-on or 3D.
Results
The new version of the solution has integrated with new clients (Burberry, Valentino Garavani, Loewe, and Maison Kitsuné), and is also released as an update to existing integrations.
I need some time to wrap this project into a case.
